Planning approval granted for 285 Build-to-rent homes in Milton Keynes

Packaged Living and Affinius Capital are delighted to announce that planning approval has been granted for Campbell Park View in Milton Keynes. This development proposes the delivery of 285 high-quality Build-to-Rent (“BtR”) homes, alongside extensive public realm enhancements and an array of amenity spaces for residents.

The development will regenerate an important gateway site in the heart of the cultural quarter and adjacent to Campbell Park. The proposals include leisure space at ground and first floor, as well as extensive public realm enhancements to improve connectivity and movement from the centre of Milton Keynes to Campbell Park.  A new colonnade and landscaped tiered seating will create a welcoming and vibrant space for residents and the wider community.

The scheme has been designed by award winning Assael-Architecture with the design drawing inspiration from local historical and cultural assets, including the curved roof profile of the neighbouring theatre building.

Campbell Park View is part of the wider multi-family portfolio being developed by a joint venture (the “JV”) between Packaged Living and Affinius Capital. The JV was established to pursue the acquisition, planning, construction, and operation of best-in-class multifamily BtR assets in the UK. The JV is ultimately targeting the creation of a diversified BtR portfolio of several thousand units across the UK, meeting  demand for purpose-built rental housing whilst simultaneously offering residents more amenitised, sustainable, and energy-efficient homes.

Sophie Gunn, Associate Director of Packaged Living, commented, “We are delighted to receive planning approval at Campbell Park View following a truly collaborative planning process, working closely with local stakeholders. This will be our second multi-family BTR scheme in Milton Keynes following the success of The Almere, an award-winning development which completed in 2022. We are looking forward to delivering our first scheme as part of the growing portfolio with Affinius Capital”.

Justin Hildebrandt of Affinius Capital comments, “Securing planning in this location was a great milestone for the Joint Venture and the entire team should be proud. We are looking forward to what we can build together”.
