Leading rental living specialists Packaged Living has been shortlisted for 3 awards at this years prestigious RESI awards.

Leading rental living specialists Packaged Living has been shortlisted for 3 awards at this years prestigious RESI awards, which are held on the 10th May this year. These are the Deal of the Year, Large Developer of the Year and PRS Deal of the Year.

Deal of the Year

In 2022 Packaged Living announced its new joint venture with USAA Real Estate to develop a portfolio of multifamily BtR assets. This is the first investment in the UK multifamily housing for USAA and is targeting a portfolio GDV of approximately £1bn.

The JV was formed to meet demands for affordable homes, whilst offering more sustainable properties that are fit for the future. The first site has already been purchased in Liverpool, a site that Packaged Living are developing into a 400 home BtR scheme with a GDV of £150m.

Large Developer of the Year

Packaged Living’s current development pipeline is valued in excess of £1.5bn. 2022 was a very successful year with an on-going contracted development of 1,000 homes and a further 1,000 homes achieving planning permission due to start on site year.

PRS Deal of the Year

Packaged Living and Aviva Investors teamed up to launch a dedicated Single Family Rental (SFR) platform focussing on the development and delivery of suburban rental housing across the UK. The Partnership places an emphasis on creating sustainable communities, targeting an EPC-A rating and offering highly energy-efficient homes designed to minimise energy usage and costs for families.
