The Origins

The Origins will form part of the wider Darwin Green masterplan and will provide 101 two, three and four bedroom houses, as well as two-bed apartments.

Located in North West Cambridge, the masterplan scheme is expected to deliver more that 1,500 homes when complete, alongside a primary school, health centre, a supermarket, as well as community spaces and parks.

All homes will be fully electric when built, making use of air source heat pump systems instead of the traditional gas boilers. The Origins will also include electric vehicle charging for every home, photovoltaic panels and battery storage to help support ongoing energy needs.
